In addition to our in-house project, we fund a range of support programs for families with children, from pre-natal up to 6 years.
Parenting for school readiness
Evidence-based parenting education, with a range of developmentally appropriate activities for children from birth to age 8 who are at risk of abuse or neglect.
Infant Case Management
Through home visits, a case manager connects farm families and other vulnerable populations to parent training resources, housing, food, and other necessities.
Safe, Healthy and Resilient Families
Professional intervention for families experiencing abuse - providing direct advocacy, parenting support, education and assistance with the healing process.
Early Childhood Education Certificate Cohort Project
Removing barriers for low-income childcare providers enrolled in the Skagit Valley College Early Learning Associate Degree program.
The family support project
Trained professionals provide in-home coaching, referrals and information to parents with small children. The goal is to break the cycle of generational trauma.
Summer Academy Early Childhood
Offering a 5-week day-camp that provides empowering educational experiences for low-income children and families aimed at building a community that realizes its full potential through leadership and lifelong learning.
