Days of Caring

Is it time to get the team together, roll your sleeves up and help the community?

If you are asking this question, you have come to the right place. See the list below for an updated list of projects at local non-profits,schools, city and county agencies. Helping your community in this way allows the agencies to focus on their mission critical work. Volunteering together on these projects will also bring your staff closer together and provide an insight to the work all of these local agencies are performing for the community. Contact Philip by email at or phone at 360-755-9521, ext 13 if your team is interested in volunteering.

Skagit Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is a one-day event that connects individuals and families that are experiencing homelessness or at-risk of becoming homeless to social and health services. PHC is open to all families and individuals looking to overcome their barriers to stable housing. The event will take place on Friday August 24th, 2018.

Skagit Project Homeless Connect would not be possible without the support of caring community members that help plan and volunteer at the event. Popular services have included haircuts, photo ID’s, dental care, veterinary care, housing services, clothing, and a healthy lunch that is served to the guests. There are volunteer positions available to help set up the event the day before, positions available to serve guests directly as well as many others. You can find all of the position descriptions as well as volunteer shift information at the Project Homeless Connect website.
